To meet these ambitions, Weglot is looking for its new Senior DevOps!

You will join a new Infrastructure & Security team, which brings together varied expertise to support our technical, sales, and marketing teams. Currently composed of a Senior Security & Compliance Officer and a DevOps engineer, you will strengthen the team as DevOps, and we will count on your expertise and proactive approach to prioritize and drive the most impactful projects for the company. This team is still being structured, and your expertise will play a key role in its development.

Primary objective: ensure the robustness, performance, and security of our platforms while guaranteeing the best user experience worldwide.

Your missions:

• Design, improve, and maintain a high-performance, reliable, and secure infrastructure, collaborating closely with other teams to support product development.
• Support the launch of a new AI-powered translation product deployed on a new infrastructure, guiding the Infrastructure & Security team through this go-to-market phase.
• Innovate and optimize tools and workflows, including:
  • Maintenance of our legacy infrastructure with modernization projects.
  • Expansion of our new containerized architecture on AWS/ECS, implementing observability, monitoring, and secret management.
  • Creation of ephemeral, reproducible test environments to streamline the CI/CD cycle.
  • Definition and implementation of a proactive observability strategy to anticipate regressions and optimize resilience, participation in on-call rotations, and continuous tooling improvements.
  • Standardization and reinforcement of AWS best practices for security, scalability, and cost management.
  • Collaboration with development teams to ensure a smooth development environment and occasional support on code or production issues.

You will also work cross-functionally with Technical Support, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to drive system improvements and industrialization projects.

Profile:

• 5–7 years of experience as an SRE, Platform Engineer, or similar role
• Proven expertise with AWS and IaC (Terraform), and experience with modern observability tools
• Autonomous, pedagogical, proactive, dynamic, and enterprising, eager to grow in a startup environment
• Bonus: prior participation in on-call rotations and incident resolution processes
