Within the Payroll team and reporting to the Payroll Service Manager, the incumbent actively contributes to payroll operations for Ubisoft Montréal as well as other Quebec legal entities.

In close collaboration with the Human Resources and Finance teams, the person is responsible for carrying out routine payroll operations while participating in improvement and compliance projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Participate in the processing of the payroll cycle and ensure accuracy, compliance, and deadlines;
• Contribute to the preparation and production of government filings (T4, Relevé 1, CNESST, etc.);
• Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of payroll-related projects and processes;
• Respond to employee questions and requests regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and other related topics;
• Collaborate in the preparation of internal and external audit files;
• Keep up to date on legislative and tax changes in payroll matters;
• Perform any other related tasks linked to the department's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

• College diploma (DEC) in finance, accounting, or a related field;
• Certification from the National Payroll Institute (INP) (asset);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar payroll role, ideally in a medium or large company environment;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Excellent organizational and priority-management skills;
• High sense of ethics, confidentiality, and integrity;
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team;
• Strong internal customer service orientation;
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
• Strong proficiency in Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, analyses);
• Experience with Nethris or an equivalent payroll system;
• Excellent knowledge of Quebec and Canadian payroll tax and legislative standards.
