Position Description:

Our Agile development team is looking for an experienced Golang developer who will help design and build a Kubernetes-managed platform to enhance the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. The team relies on collaboration, open communication, and shared ownership. We value people who bring ideas, contribute to continuous improvement, and feed their curiosity about new technologies. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Kubernetes controllers, operators, and control-plane automations in Go
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure reliable and secure platform operations
• Develop and maintain features that improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of Kubernetes-managed services
• Apply security best practices and contribute to platform compliance
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to planning, estimation, and prioritization with project managers and development leads
• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and support a collaborative team culture
• Diagnose production incidents and proactively identify system improvements
• Stay up to date on cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes ecosystem best practices

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience building backend services in Go with clean, maintainable code practices
• Solid practical knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including runtime and application deployment; experience contributing to controllers or operators is a plus
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like Terraform or similar package managers
• Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
• Ability to design and execute effective unit tests for Go applications and apply good testing practices
• Experience deploying and operating workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile development environments
