Position Description:
What you will do:
As a member of the game security team, you will help manage and mitigate security risks by providing technical expertise and security best practices, with a focus on game-related projects.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive local security program to analyze and remediate risks related to the game in question.
- Build, support, and evolve the mapping of current and potential game security risks.
- Develop and manage game security guidelines, assess and participate in the implementation of security protections with Ubisoft development teams.
- In collaboration with the Associate Director, oversee the team's technical vision.
- Define collaboration objectives and plans with partner service teams (SRM, online platform, IT, anti-cheat team, etc.) to strengthen game protection.
- Ensure the prevention and proper management of game-related risks caused by Ubisoft production activities or its service partners. Specifically, conduct reviews and propose improvements to procedures, guidelines, and security standards while taking into account game requirements and service integrations.
- Effectively communicate security requirements and confirm with project managers that these requirements are properly addressed.
- Define and track key security performance indicators to measure the health of the game after its launch.
- Use your expertise and experience to promote security awareness and education among production team members.
Qualifications:
What you bring:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.
- Experience in cybersecurity (including network, API, and encryption/obfuscation best practices).
- Cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, OSTH, OSDA, or PT1 are a plus.
Relevant Experience:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in game development or information security, with experience in API exploitation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).

- Ability to understand and adapt solutions to business needs.

Knowledge:
- Fluency in English required to communicate effectively with our international colleagues and partners who do not speak French.
- Knowledge of game protection technologies, gaming technologies and game design, code obfuscation, debugging, virtualization technologies, tamper protection, and watermarking.
- Strong ability to identify potential security issues in all aspects of a game, from its architecture to its core features (virtual economy, sessions, etc.).
- Knowledge of cryptography and binary protections (ideally related to game security).
- Knowledge of system bypass or breaking methodologies for protection systems.
