Within Group Technology, Intesa Sanpaolo is seeking a figure to be inserted in the context represented by IT projects in the Regulatory Reporting area.

The sought figure, as a Senior Functional Analyst, will need to gather and analyze the business requirements related to the area of reference and draft the IT functional documents useful for software development. They must also have excellent relational and organizational skills, so as to assume a mediation role between users and internal/external developers, ensuring attention to activity planning and governance of functional variables with potential impact on plans.

Main required activities are:

• Managing relationships with the Bank business owner to analyze requirements and with other internal and external stakeholders of the IT Directorate involved in business and project processes
• Drafting the functional analysis document in accordance with the expressed requirements.
• Verifying and ensuring functional correctness in compliance with company IT processes and solutions.
• Managing relations with development teams so that user needs are understood and developed correctly.
• Preparing documents with the plan of technical and functional tests.
• Managing the design phases and setup of new application architectures, useful for the delivery of user functional requirements
• Verifying the development plan and coordinating the actors involved in the User Acceptance Test phases.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager for defining the Work Progress Status, identifying and addressing critical issues, proactively identifying and managing project risks
• Maintaining consistency between what has been developed and company standards/regulations with reference, for example, to Cybersecurity, Privacy, Change Management and Data Management

Required Experience

At least 5 years of experience in medium/high complexity IT projects preferably in the banking context, financial regulatory reporting sector.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

• Master’s degree in Finance and Markets or Information Systems for Business and Finance, or degree in Economics and Finance.
• Good command of the English language
• Ability to work in teams and in structured organizations
• Functional knowledge with specific reference to EMIR, DFA, MiFID, SFTR and MMSR regulations.
• Knowledge of Listed and OTC Derivatives products
• Knowledge of Equity Cash, FX and Money Market products
• Proven experience in medium-high complexity IT projects as a senior functional analyst
• Agility of thought and critical thinking
• Knowledge of IT project phases (business requirements analysis, breakdown into functional analysis, etc.) and estimation methodologies.
• Skills in traditional and innovative IT architectures.
• Knowledge of main BI packages (Power BI, Qlik Sense)
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365 tools
• Knowledge of XML and FpML protocols
• Knowledge of relational DBs and related data query syntax.
