Under the responsibility of the controller, the position holder is in charge of producing the company's financial information. He produces the semi-annual, quarterly, half-yearly and annual consolidated financial statements, in addition to providing various cash forecasts as needed.

What you will do:

• Participate in the monthly close (preparation and approval of journal entries – Peoplesoft)
• Participate in the production of Headquarters reporting (Hyperion Financial Management)
• Review the accounting books, participate in the semi-annual and annual audit files
• Participate in the production of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements (with notes)
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns
• Participate in the preparation of the quarterly balance sheet forecast
• Monitor the cash forecast on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis
• Perform the calculation of the tax provision on a monthly basis
• Perform various internal controls on a quarterly basis
• Supervise and train, if necessary, accounting interns and accounting technicians
• Assist the controller in the analysis of the monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with ASPE/IFRS
• Perform any other related tasks and special files (mergers, processes, modeling, ...)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA/CA designation an asset, or relevant experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts and ASPE/IFRS standards
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle/Peoplesoft an asset
• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) an asset
• Ability to organize and structure your work
• Analytical mindset
• Sense of responsibility and effective communication skills
• Experience in a multi-company context
• Team spirit and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Experience working with international parties and remote teams
• Professional English and fluent French
